Norway Spruce
Norway Spruce

Norway Spruce

The traditional Christmas tree when purchased from a reputable grower, freshly cut, kept cool and well watered it will hold its needles nearly as well as any other variety.

Blue Spruce
Blue Spruce

Blue Spruce

Silvery blue tinge to needles with pungent smell of citrus. Very pretty, buy very prickly.

Frasier Fir
Frasier Fir

Fraser Fir

More expensive than spruce as takes longer to grow. Uniform shape, strong branches, excellent needle holding qualities!

Nordman Fir
Nordman Fir

Nordman Fir

The most expensive of the trees, simply because it takes twice as long to grow as a spruce. Bushy, with straight branches and glossy needles. Excellent needle holding qualities.

Noble Fir

In the wild, the trees are tall, beautifully symmetrical and grow to over 200 feet in height. The bark is smooth with resin blisters when young and changes to brownish-gray plates with age. The needles are roughly 4-sided (similar to spruce), over 1 inch long, bluish-green but appearing silver because of 2 white rows of stomata on the underside and 1-2 rows on the upper surface. The needles are generally twisted upward so that the lower surface of branches are exposed.

Pot Grown & Rooted

These trees have spent all their lives growing in a pot. If looked after correctly, they can be planted in the garden after Christmas. Pot grown trees come in the following varieties: Norway spruce, Fraser fir, Serbian spruce, and Nordman fir.
